Dr. Yvette Williams is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and the daughter of Harold L. King, and the late Phoebe King. She is a 1980 graduate of Jean Ribault Senior High School also of Jacksonville. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University; a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies and a Doctorate Degree in Biblical Studies both from Truth Bible University. She is also a member of Toastmasters International. Dr. Williams was employed by Florida Blue, formerly Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida for 35+ years.
In February 1980, Dr. Williams repented of her sins and received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was mentored, pastored and nurtured by the late Rev. Dr. Mary Austin Jones for over 25 years. She was ordained by Dr. Jones, September 2, 1992. In August, 2008, she founded and her husband, Michael, co-founded Word of Truth Worship Center (non-denominational church), located in Jacksonville, Florida. She is the Visionary, Overseer, and Senior Pastor. Dr. Williams was affirmed as an Apostle in God’s Church, July 2018, by Apostle Michael Grant of Faith Worship Center, Columbus, Georgia.
Dr. Williams is the CEO and founder of Positive Impact Enrichment (P.I.E) Community Development Center whose purpose is to positively impact and influence the community, surrounding areas and those that make contact with her through interpersonal and other life skills development programs, along with recreational activities, including summer camp.
In addition to all of the aforementioned, Dr. Williams is a mentor and covers other pastors and ministers through prayer, fasting and inspirational words. Dr. Williams is an anointed vessel of God, dynamic teacher and preacher of the Word of God. She is also a motivational and inspirational speaker. Dr. Williams firmly believes God has endowed her with an unequivocal, unexplainable, unwavering belief that whatever He says, she expects it to happen! Dr. Williams loves the people of God and always reminds them that God’s thoughts towards them are good and not evil, for He is not willing that any perish but that they come to repentance.
Dr. Williams is the wife of Pastor Michael Williams and a loving mother of two sons, Derrick and Cameron. Her family is very dear to her and she forever gives God thanks for every opportunity she spends with them.
